Hi, my name is Arisa Fukushima, a graphic designer based in San Francisco, California and Tokyo, Japan. I currently work within various collaborative spaces across the Bay Area as a graphic and web designer, stylist, illustrator, and brand developer.

My understanding of social and cultural context, shaped by my dual cultural background, has been integral to my creative development. It has taught me to approach design through the people, communities, and experiences which surround all of us.

The people that I meet, learn from, and collaborate with continue to shape the way I create. I see design as a fundamentally human practice, in the way it serves as a form of communication, connection, question and create meaningful experiences. Through my work, I hope to produce design work that encourages curiosity, conversation, and a deeper understanding of each other.
